    Honestly, it’s hard to justify 5g unless your density is quite high. Rushing into 6g is a bad idea, especially if it’s politics leading us in. Fragmentation sucked for everyone back in the 2g/3g era.

      5g is needed even in relatively less dense urban areas. Where I live the towers can still get congested enough that video streaming won’t work well at peak times, even with 5g. Since many of the city’s poorest residents get internet through hotspots subsidized by the city, this becomes an issue that widens the digital divide despite attempts to address it.
