The BBC is looking for a new head of its Arabic-language service to please Israel lobbyists. Mouthpieces for the occupation had complained it was too quick to blame Israel for its actions. The move is intended to force BBC Arabic to use the same dishonest framing as its English-language services.

The manufactured furore began in November 2025. Pro-Israel pressure groups complained that the BBC Arabic coverage of its ‘war’ in Gaza was “critically different” from English coverage. This meant that it was – this is not satire — “painting Israel as the aggressor” in Gaza.

You don’t have to play coy your intentions are extremely obvious. Citing a right wing rag not mentioned in the article and then pretending to doubnt it.

Telegraph is not mentioned in the Canary article what are you even on about? The Telegraph literally just makes stuff up and lies for Israel they are not a source.

The Telegraph is the source of the first Times article about Elzaenen.

The claims were made as part of a dossier seen by The Daily Telegraph, which was sent to BBC executives by Michael Prescott

In his memo, Prescott indicated that BBC Arabic was failing in its duty to provide impartial news coverage. He highlighted the “critically different treatment” of coverage between the main BBC News website and its Arabic counterpart of a rocket attack that killed nine children in the Golan Heights in July last year.

Oh yeah turned out Israel killed those children with a failed interceptor missile and then lied about it. Interesting Prescott is willing to use the lie Western media spread as “evidence”.

I’m not reading the rest of that garbage filled to the brim with lies. Safe to say TheCanary has been completely vindicated.

I’m sorry, how is the Canary vindicated by the failings of the source it used?

What source you’re just citing Zionist propaganda without sources. That’s what TheCanary called out.
