Hasn’t online always kind of had the IRS? Every 48 minutes (GTA day) I lose money for property upkeep, the mechanic and other stuff; sounds IRS like to me.

They didn’t buy Vizio because they like TV’s, they did it because they like data harvesting. They are an advertising tech bro giant, just more quiet about it.
I don’t disagree with the opinion, but where do we go? If Firefox goes down the forks do too, Chrome/Chromium has a monopoly on almost all other browsers, we’re stuck between two turd sandwiches as far as I know.
