I have a better backup system in place for my factorio saves. Script syncs the live copy to several places on the network along with compressing a timestamped copy to an external HDD which stores a bunch of copies. Then manually I might trim them down every few years or so as I don’t really need 3 different copies from March 2024 still.
It’s illegal to use your own here, only allowed to rent one from which ever company has the monopoly to rent them out in your area. Or can’t use them at all as there isn’t anyone renting them out in your area.
Of course because there is no legal option to use your own many just do it illegally.
I would be more accepting of escooter rentals if it wasn’t the only legal option to use an escooter in the UK. It’s fucking bullshit that they are essentially given a monopoly on renting a method of transport.
Yeah, I ride a bike a lot and escooters usually are treated the same as far as road laws go where they are allowed. Can’t think of when I have had to jump a kerb.

Mixed feelings on it. Its amusing to cycle past a line of unmoving cars, but the air is cleaner if I go down the road that only has the occasional electric bus or ICE ambulance driving down it and is otherwise all bikes. Cars are banned and its monitored with automated fines to the owner for any cars that go down it.

Deploying consistently poor quality code costs far more. That can double the size of the support department and keep them going for years. Costing far more to the organisation.

My last job started pushing harder for stuff like this. Every week the CEO saying how we need to use these AI tools more and not enough people are doing it.
They even gave us bullshit tasks that were a complete waste of time and an AI tool to do it faster. You know what is more efficient? Not doing it at all!
