The type of reading material should change as we age. Imagination Library does simple children’s books for read8ng together. I wouldn’t expect a 12yr to still want to read See Spot Run-level books.

Iirc most the ReVanced devs left due to some kinda conflict with the dev spearheading it. Morphe is the work of several ex-ReV devs working together specifically to evade that one guy, and ReV’s update code is mostly being pulled from Morphe anyway because the devs that left were doing most of the work, so that one guy is copying them back into ReV.

Quite likely. Many Linux distros aren’t visible because they hide their telemetry, and would be marked as ‘unknown’ - or they spoof Windows or Mac for compatibility reasons. It’d be impossible to get an accurate read on how many computers run Linux, but it’ll be higher than the number that report it.

Community is the cult’s greatest weapon. Gangs, religions, the manosphere, neo-Nazi… so many groups work by finding the isolated and disempowered, offering them a community that will adopt them (conditionally). Isolated people swallow the conditions readily in order to have a community, even an unhealthy one. Humans are social creatures.

Getting your members to do behaviours you know will see them rejected (like door-knocking) reinforces the indoctrination that only your cult can offer community. Even if they have doubts or discomfort, they won’t leave.

From what I understand, the narrative is that these things are inevitable. Natural emergent states of the world. No point fighting it, etc etc. Even the billionaires think as much, that’s why they invest in insulating themselves from it.

If your hair is healthy, well-kept and clean, plenty of styles will look good. The cut itself is less important. Unwashed, matted, and deep-fried by 3-in-1 ‘soaps’? Even a basic barber cut will look frizzy and unkempt.

Same for beards. A beard of any length looks good brushed with a coarse boar-brush, treated with beard balm, trimmed to shape. Left to grow put with no treatment, no brushing, no clipping? Any length looks haggard.

Healthy hair, healthy skin, natural lighting and a confident yet approachable demeaner do almost all the work for us.

If I saw this I would assume it was spam. Same as the mail I get about donating to presidents, US tax returns, car warranties etc. I get plenty of American spam already.

Also as a person with marketing experience, a first-time email from an previously-unknown address that has an attachment is definitely going straight to spam on most decent email providers. That’s why I sent follow-ups.

Yeah no normal person is carrying that much cash. Its either a trap or a crime.

You are right, voting within a system is not a meaningful way to change the system. The relationship between public desire and legislature is almost non-existent, financial interests however are often 1:1. The powerful get access to political and ‘advise’ them on issues they know little about.

But most people aren’t platforming politicians that are informed. They’re not writing to their prepresentatives. They’re not attending meetings. They’re not driving other change.

So yes, while it would be ideal for us to collectively run against the conveyor belt into fascism, to break it down systematically… if most citizens will only choose which direction to jog on the belt, then you should still encourage them to jog against it, rather than protest by sitting down.

I don’t think anybody is in a moral position to say ‘voting for the lesser of two evils is bad/pointless’ unless they’re engaged in literally any activism at all to the alternative, and supporting others in the same. Otherwise their moral idealism is self-righteous harmful ‘slacktivism’, nothing more.

Most people won’t do anything more than vote (or abstain). Most people already barely read policy at all. For such people, recommending they sit down on the belt and be carried righteously into fascism from a position of moral superiority is still moving forward on the belt.

‘Fair’ used to mean ‘pale’. Snow White is called Snow White because of how pale she is.

Of course under White supremacy, there’s a reason being fair/pale came to mean ‘pretty-faced’. But it’s why a child can be ‘fair’.

The original question (in English anyway) is fairest of them all - as in pale of face. Snow White was so pale she was literally named Snow White.

I have my written tone read as ‘angry’ (or sometimes, passionate) just because of my formal word choice. It’s angry if I’m pointing out something bad, and passionate if I’m sharing something good. Because it’s not just meaning, its also being compared to everybody else’s writing.

As it is, when people call my name, turns out if you say ‘yes?’ Or ‘what’s up?’ in a completely neutral tone (because I’m concentrating on my task, not my performance)… the default interpretation is ‘pissed’. So now that’s another area I have to mask for others, even while I’m trying to work.

It’s the same reason women talking like men seem like bitches. It’s not about what you actually say or how you say it, it’s being compared to how you’re expected to behave. If we expect men to be forthright, and women to be diplomatic, then forthright women are bitches and diplomatic men are delicate.
