    asking you to clarify

At absolutely no point did you do this. I did clarify, several times, and you completely refused to hear it.

Incredibly narcissistic way to characterize your behavior, completely lacking in self awareness. Link me to the comment where you “asked me to clarify,” literally your initial comment was “cry more.”

You said “my bad” and went back to hurling abuse. It’s not about “getting my feelings hurt,” it’s about having a dickhead representing our side and turning away potential comrades through demeanor.

You even put “our” in quotes just now, as if you’re still not admitting that you were mistaken, still treating me as an enemy after recognizing you were dead wrong, after doubling and tripling down on it. Again, do self-crit, you’re trying to shrug off all responsibility onto me for taking offense rather than yourself for fucking up and having zero self-awareness.

To indulge in personal attacks, pick quarrels, vent personal spite or seek revenge instead of entering into an argument and struggling against incorrect views for the sake of unity or progress or getting the work done properly. This is a fifth type [of liberalism].

To be aware of one’s own mistakes and yet make no attempt to correct them, taking a liberal attitude towards oneself. This is an eleventh type [of liberalism].

I told you like three times that you had no reason to come after me and that if you took five seconds to check you’d realize it. Is that an effective means of promoting your ideology? By randomly attacking the people who share it, and who are also promoting it?

If I didn’t 100% agree with you, I’d hate your fucking guts.

Never gave me a chance to explain, still not apologizing for your mistake, still going on the offense without backing down, if you’re gonna run around acting like that, maybe we’d be better off if you weren’t on our side. Do some fucking self-crit.

I’m aware, dumbass, when you said, “Cry about it” you took their side and reaffirmed them accusing me of being an alt. So, you accused me of being an alt first.

I really encourage you to stop trying to exchange these pointless snipes and actually look into any of my beliefs and views on literally anything.

You first said the thing that you’re now saying is a stupid thing to say, so what does that make you?

If you weren’t such a fucking idiot, you’d realize this is friendly fire - I don’t disagree with your political views, as far as I’m aware. But you just want to attack me for no reason because you refuse to take five seconds to distinguish friend from foe.

    Everything is an alt/bot/troll

That’s literally what the other person said, and what you told me to “cry about”

the only correct opinions are the ones you were given by the US state department

Tell me you’ve never read a single thing I’ve written without telling me. Point to one time when I voiced an opinion, or one view you think I hold that’s consistent with the US state department, dumbass. I’ll wait.

  • When you say I believe I turned off the oven, you are subjectively recalling something. You aren’t looking at the oven, you’re remembering it.

You’re also relying on your subjective memory when you look away from the scale to write down the number you read.

There is an accepted protocol on how to read a meniscus in a graduated cylinder for this reason or any scale for that matter.

Oh, now this is fascinating. Tell me, does this “accepted protocol” mean that you don’t have to rely on your subjective senses at all? If so, then how, exactly, does the information end up reaching your brain? I would love to know.

This is essentially just, “When someone wears a lab coat, that means it’s objective.” Even within “accepted protocols” there is still plenty of room for human error.

You are completely wrong about basically everything you’ve said, and your wrong ideas seem to be a product of the disdain you seem to have for the humanities - a common ailment of people with just enough knowledge of science to be very confidently wrong about things.

  • That’s incredibly dumb.

My observations about turning off the oven are just as objective and evidence-based as any other observations. I saw whether I did it or not very clearly with my own two eyes. If you want to get into, “Senses are inherently subjective,” fine, but that includes using your eyes to read a scale during an experiment. You’re trying to draw an insane distinction between reading a scale and reading a dial on an oven, it makes absolutely zero sense, and you don’t understand anything about science, epistemology, or philosophy in general. You’re going full Dunning-Kruger here.
