2 days agoThis is not the first time this method is used for malware. Why do browsers still not block JS inside SVG? Imo there is very limited use for JS in SVG anyway.
Edit: ‘graphics’ -> ‘JS’ in last sentence

Joking aside, this private message is kind of intimidating and I would consider reporting it. This kind of behavior is not what is good for a healthy lemmy community.
When I first read the article this was a WTF moment for me. I was reading it twice to find out how that fits in the whole picture, but it is just mentioned once… no further explanation. So I called the whole thing BS…
