Didn’t that already happen somewhere around the turn of the millennium?
EDIT: Yup, although it was a .com domain.
Since I invariably wind up getting “name suits” types of comments, here’s the explanation behind it:
Around the turn of the millennium, I was trying to come up with a username to use on a particular site that had a shortish character count limit for usernames. My goal was something related to the fact that I would often be making my points in arguments with “holier-than-thou” types by taking what they were saying, and turning it on its head so the offensive stuff was directed back at them.
I also happened to learn shortly beforehand that many years ago “'ape” was somewhat commonly used as a verb to mean “imitate” or “copy.”
I’m sure you can figure the rest out.

I agree, but control freaks will do whatever it takes to have their way, and so will manipulate people in any way possible to reach that end - including preventing that open-minded culture from taking root. Just look at Murdock’s manipulation of the masses via his media empire for a blatant example.

…going at high speeds.
Well, there’s a double entendre for you.

With the lack of social acceptance for those of a different mindset, choosing differently usually makes one’s life significantly more difficult than is justifiable. Therefore, no - it may technically be “voluntary,” but the reality doesn’t come close to matching that ideal.

I dunno about that Tinder one - seems more like Grindr material.
At first I thought that was the TARDIS on the end there.

Nah, not likely at least until the next administration, so it’ll probably be a bit longer than that.

Can we spare Mackenzie Scott? She seems to be trying to do the most good she can with the money she got out of the divorce from Bezos.
Damnit, Verne Troyer - why couldn’t you have stuck around for this?!?

Well, that’s sure to give America the shot in the arm it needs to become great again!

Don’t they have enough of those? My browser has to keep telling them “no, thanks” because they won’t stop trying to shove them down my throat like they think they’re my grandma or something.

Thank you, George Carlin, for setting me upon the path of true righteousness - which allowed me to appreciate the speaker of actual truths featured in OP.
I’ve seen that look… Right before he suddenly leaps up & takes off down the hall at warp speed as if he realized he forgot something. Of course, when he gets there he’s already forgotten what it was so he just acts like what he just did didn’t actually happen despite everyone watching him wondering what all that was about.

In the USA at least, the term “fairy” has long been used by some as derogatory slang for highly feminine-acting homosexual males (although I’ve seen the occasional use by such people themselves, which I assume is a bit like black people calling each other the “N-word” - I support both groups, but am a part of neither so I could be wrong in my interpretation on that aspect).
Considering virtually every group that aren’t proud white “Christians” (a misnomer if ever there was one) are under extreme attack by the current US administration, I was implying a book about “fairies” might conceivably be about gay people and therefore “illegal” with all the book banning that has unfortunately been going on here.

One takes twice as long as the other to get their work done, so I think they’re just work “friends” because the washer secretly hates how the dryer keeps talking so long.

Depends on which definition of “fairy” the book is about.

Because the “holds” never clear as instantly as the charges are incurred, but usually take around three business days to be available in your account again - during which somebody’s using your money to add to a pile of holds to earn interest from (instead of you). This is especially onerous if you’re living paycheck-to-paycheck as so many are nowadays. It’s legalized theft that they get away with because they return the money they stole each time, but only after they’ve used it to make more money for themselves with.
Sorry, I feel the opposite. With each day bringing ever more absurd crap & destruction from this admin, waiting for the time for this all to be over with has slowed down and stretched out (like a horror movie hallway) to the point of feeling like this shit will never end.
The only way to make that graph make sense to me is if you added a toilet to the bottom.
Yeah, that’s pretty much why I went with the knead theory.
