I mean, its voluntary as i submit to it and even value it. There is too much work for one person to handle, so having a boss who sets priorities, and them having a boss who works at negotiating contracts and dealings to align his business segment to grow and fit inside his bosses view for the whole company so thousands of us can remain employed. Yea i dont want those roles and responsibilities (nor do I have that skillset) and i volunteer to be in this heirarchy

At 27, i would have put down 12 light beers before dinner while on a trip with no real responsibilities.
I see this sentiment a lot. No way “youre the only one.”
I feel like im the only one. No one in my life uses it. My work is not eligible to have it implemented in anyway. This whole ai movement seems to be happening around me, and i have nothing more than new articles and memes that are telling me its happening. It serious doesnt impact me at all, and i wonder how others lives are crumbling
Me too. I always had good grades, but had no organization skills. My homework log was asking the guy at the locker next to me what was due tomorrow. Great career now with 3 degrees. Struggle to get anything started, but when momentum is going, i cant stop.
I always suspected adhd, especially when online communities became more prevalent. It wasnt until a marriage councilor called me out on my ADHD and was stunned Id never been diagnosed.
True, but not everyone there is vying for an academic job. Especially like something in thermodynamics. I work in the aerospace industry and every engineer has at least a masters in a science/engineering field, a lot have PhD.
My experience was different. All it did was make their filthy paws wet which made for more work cleaning up
Really? I used these a few times and all it did was get their paws wetter and not clean and made nasty paw prints across the house. I went back to a regilar towel pretty quickly.
It does amaze me when i pop on some old school rage and its extremely applicable to todays events
Like i always tell me children, “control what you can control.” Works in so many situations, and gets them to take ownership of the situation, and their own happiness and stop blaming others
As someone else said, this is seriously an easy project. The two screws you can see in the picture, loosen the set screw in the handle (the little hole on bottom). Pop the handle off, pop the solid metal ring off the door. That’ll expose 2 more Phillips head screws. Take the handles out, the latch will slide out.
I literally did 8 of these this weekend. When buying a new knob, you can get knob, handle, locking, or not locking. Any version should fit
Only tools needed are a phillips head screw driver, and probably an alen key set for that set screw. Both cheap tools that are great to have. Might need a flat screw driver to help pop off those metal rings at the handle base
I dont get it.
Sure theres people there where you cant see them, but the bird cant exist below water in their environment and the wetland creatures cant exist where the bird thrives. The birds still alone?
Is this for the millennials (i am one)? I thought the younger generations weren’t drinking like we did
I hate when i ask a coffee shop if they have cold brew and they say, “we can make it iced for you.”
Gtfo like thats the same

Ah yes, their support network refusing to support them if they dont fit the mold someone else has instilled upon them. Definitely self inflicted.
Yeah. Those advocates for gender norms who says girls can be anything too will immediately tell you to “man up” at the first sign of weakness. How about we knock out gender norms both ways?
Guess what im doing with my problems now? And im also not sharing my solutions to said problems after theyre resolved because itll be a “why didnt you handle that sooner?” Or some other bullshit about how you could have prevented it from even starting
I imagine they dont air every episode they shoot either. They could easily shoot way more than they need and milk the hell out of the good stories/good games
There used to be sugar in your alcohol drink! But then the yeast ate it… and the byproduct of the yeast eating that sugar is the alcohol.
I felt like this for a while. I was doing cool and interesting stuff… then i learned that my employer charges the people we contract me out to at $330/hr and i make no where near that. Burst that bubble real quick
I dont know if its any solice to you, but the courts are changing. This story feels like its at least 20 years old, if not more so. My wife is a Family Law attorney, and shes shared story after story where the courts biased is slipping away. There are even entire national law firms dedicated to mens divorce/family law that thrived because they knew how to navigate the bias.
Id like to think your buddy’s story would have a different ending if it happened today
