Yup. Don’t keep lithium batteries in a drawer. They all become fire hazards, given enough time.
Well it’s gizmodo, so already not journalism.
I would recommend not touching system apps unless you have a very good reason for doing so. And be willing to risk breaking your device.
Although I note the article does not say he was her student.
I’m aware. I still downvoted because it’s not a useful contribution.
I don’t remember what kind they use off the top of my head. If it’s “click all the motorcycles” ones, it’s normal for it to take two or three rounds. If it’s the h5Na7 kind, then yeah you should be able to solve it in one go. Maybe try the audio version?
I don’t personally have one, but Civ has a touch interface (at least 5 does, never got into 6). The touchpads probably approximate a mouse input.
It can be slop and people can enjoy it.
For example, I’ll usually put something on for background music. Usually one of the lofi streams on YouTube. I’m sure that a huge portion of that music is generated, not performed. But I’m not really appreciating it as music, either. If I want to actually listen to music, I’ll put on actual music.
Pop is a very broad category.
If you want a similar gaming handheld, Steam Deck.
Yup. Personally now that I’m an adult and have Responsibilities, I spend less time playing games. I hardly even follow new games coming out, and just work on recommendations from friends, or stuff from developers whose games I’ve enjoyed in the past.
Why remove them? If they look good enough to buy, do it, and get around to the others eventually.
Agreed. There is violence being actively committed by ICE and the right wing right now. If the mods silence people resisting that violence, it makes them complict.
Boot live media, mount the drive, copy it off.
Yup. I’ve worked for a good company that did tech support, and if anyone was abusive, we immediately put them on hold and transferred them to a manager. Later, that person’s boss got a call from the manager about how their employee treated our employee. This rarely happened, fortunately. Most of our clients liked us, and most of us liked them.
And still to this day, when I need to call support, even if I’m pissed off, I don’t take it out on them. I just let them know I’m frustrated, and almost every time, they get me what I need.
No, this is a psycho with a gun.
The whole billionaire thing is completely arbitrary. It used to be that being a millionaire was a big deal. With inflation, in a couple more years we’ll have trillionaires, if Mohammed bin Salman hasn’t become the first one already.
If you make more than most people, regardless of how much that is, you should be heavily taxed.
I love posts like these. I have no idea what I’m reading half the time, but whatever they’re doing sounds interesting!
Not all, just a big part.
