I remember the PlayStation doing that since the PS2. I had like 30 or so games which had X for accept and O for back. But then I played a remastered Uncharted on my PS4 and was utterly confused to see triangle for back.

I’d say that viewing cutscenes on your first playthrough is appreciating the artistic intent that goes behind it.

I like something when it’s looks like it’s from the 2000s. Software? Give me all the info at one screen. Houses? Neighbour’s house in Home Alone. Clothes? Give me the most staurated T shirts and cargo you got.

Tbh we are cave adapted organisms to a point. Remember when you got a fever or a cold, and all you wanted to do was curl up in a corner of the room with your blanket all over you? That is inherently the human brain trying to go into a “cave”, a more secluded area with less things that don’t overwhelm it. We’ve evolved to go into “return to cave” mode when we feel sick.

I’d say several fonts on Google Fonts (the only place I know lol) are pretty good. I don’t see them mentioned anywhere and I’m not a font enthusiast per se, so I’d call them less known. Some of my favourite - Courier Pro, Doto, Sono, SUSE Mono, Josefin Slab, and Martian Mono.

And a couple others default on my Windows PC that I like: Bookman Old Style, Yu Gothic (Fun fact - this font was used by the hit anime Neon Genesis Evangelion for their english title cards) and wierdly enough, Segoe UI. I love that Windows 8 aesthetic it brought.

Definitely a lot of fonts I’d very much like using whenever I need a new font next. Thanks!
