At least you’ll be vaporized fast, then. Some of us will have to suffer through the radiation.

Good Lord, I thought I got ripped off the one time I had to pay and it was only pay 99 cents. I’m very fortunate there are so many free chargers here.

It really makes me wonder how bad the memories I forgot are if the ones I can remember are so bad.

Finally some good news!

OpenSCAD is a 3d modeling software that you program instead of manipulating pieces. If you’re trying to create a creature or something organic it’s going to be an utter nightmare. But if you want precise measurements and parameterized models it’s hard to beat.

My in-laws laughed when I got an EV. They had been led by Fox News and Facebook to believe that EV batteries only last 2-3 years and cost >$10,000 to replace. Americans (boomers especially) are so gullible that only those of us who avoid conservative news can make the occasional smart decision.

I thought that was just me! My second favorite feature is that a full 75% of my notifications in a day are Facilitator bot messages, which I need to repeatedly click out of and into to clear.

The HN comments are so depressing. Most of them are people saying they ran the article through a checker saying it’s likely AI. It’s pretty obvious almost nobody there actually read the article, which is sad because I thought it was really good.

No. Anytime I have been so out of it that I couldn’t tell left from right I also couldn’t remember if the L or ⅃ was right. I have no good solution left at that point.

I remember buying Pokemon Gold with my birthday money and my mom beating me senseless because she was planning to use that money. Worth it, though.

Loved this game as a kid. I wonder if it holds up.

Thank you. Now with context I can properly say he’s delusional. He’s discussing legal inter-congressman ways to be corrupt that were removed, but ignoring the post-legal landscape Trump is occupying.

Does anyone have a non-paywall link? I want to read the whole quote to accurately gauge how insane he is.

I am liking the gimmick episodes, I just wish they were a bit spaced out. I’d like some normal philosophical dilemma or alien drama episodes in-between. If this season’s episodes had been portioned out between all the seasons it would be great, but having all of them in a row is a bit fatiguing.

Great conclusions. Glad the investigative results are being released.

So someone is going to be held accountable, right? Things will be fixed to ensure nobody’s allowed to do it again, right? Right?

This is a very American answer, but legally requiring cops to hold malpractice insurance would change a lot. Then a private company would be on the hook if something happens, and they would have training requirements that don’t currently exist.

Things must have changed with full EVs. I know a guy who tests and selectively replaces the modules in old Priuses. He only does a full replacement if someone specifically requests it.

At this point I feel like I’m surviving solely on a diet of onions.

Every behind-the-scenes video or picture from Laika blows my mind. They go big every time and it pays off.
