Hey! Can you double check its not in your spam folder?
If there’s nothing, then please send an email over to hello@lemmy.zip, include your username, and we can have a look for you!
I’ve also changed it to allow posts on !home@piefed.zip (from piefed.zip users)
Was a piefed bug but dev quickly fixed it :)
Lemmy.zip has a moderation policy under our Code of conduct.
FYI my reply is above Blaze
We’ve had an chat internally and decided that we’d be happy with a community that separates HP from JKR as long as it was properly moderated in line with its purpose.
The suggestion allows for a community on another instance where JKR could be discussed in relation to HP. The merits of such a community are obvious, however we don’t agree that the subject matters can’t be discussed separately, if there was a demand for that community to exist.
So, we would be happy with a community to specifically discuss HP, if such a community was to be opened.
I do wonder if the latest Lemmy version has introduced a bug then - I’ll keep an eye out and see if anyone else mentions the same thing
Do you still see this behavior btw?
Do you still see this behavior on the old frontend?
I thought maybe you had some instance blocks in place, but it doesnt look like you do?
Possibly - I can definitely see the full history in that community when I browse it via .zip (both with this account and the test account) - quite possibly something has pulled through via the import that has affected things 🤔
Did you import settings from .ee?
Hey, have you got show read posts ticked in your account settings?
Otherwise can you share some links where you’re seeing this behaviour please?
Also if you can let me know which communities you’re still on pending for, that would help too.
Thanks
Hey, could you try a couple of things just to make sure its not a browser issue? If you could clear your site data for old.lemmy.zip and then log back in, do you have the same problem?
Hey! I’ve logged it here: https://github.com/sheodox/alexandrite/issues/123
Lemm.ee doesn’t use the proxy so we need the alexandrite devs help to figure this out. Just waiting for them to respond.
Lemm.ee didn’t shut down because it was financially unsustainable though. It shut down because the admin team didn’t want to do it anymore.
Plenty of people have offered to take lemm.ee on and AFAIK nothing has progressed, but handled in a different way there could have been continuity and no need for users to transition away.
Given that the issue wasn’t one of finance and rather one of effort/will, how does charging for access change anything? The owner could decide they have had enough, walk away, and shut everything down anyway, no?

I will be in touch, well done 😁
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it! 😊
❤️ two years already 😱
I do give a fuck.
I give a fuck about creating a welcoming safe space on this instance.
I give a fuck that we act with integrity and fairness.
I don’t give a fuck that it hurts your feelings to be called out, nor do I have time to respond to emails that are just more justifications of your transphobia.
We issued a temp ban as a warning. Instead you harass my admin team and bad mouth admins from other instances, while continuing to try and justify yourself.
I suggest you find another instance that will accept your behaviour, because its not welcome here.
