Only if you got chickenpox at some point. If you were vaccinated against it and then never got ill you won’t get shingles. The vaccine wearing off does not cause shingles, what happens is the vaccine wears off and then you get chickenpox then you get shingles later in life.

There’s no age limit on vaccination if your parents didn’t have you vaccinated, then you can just get yourself vaccinated now. It’s fine, it’ll still take.

An minimum refusing to vaccinate your kid should constitute child abuse. That’s the problem with the pro-choice crowd, they’re not pro-choice, they’re pro stupidity.

The quick test could require them to point to the country that they are trying to enter on a map of the world. If they’re unable to do so it’s a fairly good indicator that they’re probably unvaccinated as well.

Saying that genocide is bad is like the lowest possible bar of respectability. It’s sad that him coming out and saying that a war is unjust and shouldn’t be happening is considered newsworthy.

Although I will give him credit for sticking with it even after Trump threatened him. He could have dropped it at that point and he didn’t.

Nothing will improve until the US moves away from the two party system. It’s an inherently flawed system, because it leaves no room for nuance. You either have to vote for the red guys or the blue guys and if both the red guys and the blue guys are crap then you have to vote for the least worst option, which is often hard to identify.

There’s nothing written down that actually requires people to be the representative of one party or another, it’s just how things have worked out.

The US also needs to seriously get a grip on religion in politics, it can be there up to a point but there has to be a limit. In any other western country a politician stating that a war is just and required entirely on the basis of religion alone would rightfully get them sectioned.

Oh we’ve built an AI data centre, as in a massive building in a major city centre has been constructed. Just like with you the AI doesn’t seem to have any defined task it just exists so the company can announce that it’s an AI company. Not a single person in management seems to have any idea what it might be used for, so I suspect it’s just going to sit there and do nothing.

There’s quite a lot of work that’s already been automated by various python scripts so it’s not even as if the AI is going to bring any automation to the table. Not that I would trust it anyway.

They have announced that as a result of this AI, they expect their profits to increase 4x despite the complete lack of any direction. Fun times ahead I am sure.

It’s like this theme park they’re building in Bedford. They claim is going to create thousands of jobs. It will create some jobs for sure but they’re also including the IT support staff in that number, but they are contractors so they already have a job anyway.
