  • zen mods are css/js injections, not full extensions. a new tab override extension won’t translate cleanly into a mod afaik. i just tried installing it there and it didn’t work tho, i think there’s an issue because zen has a native pop up when you click open a new tab, since i also tried installing tabliss and it won’t let me also. it seems zen blocks new tab permissions and there’s no fix on their part yet. i think the only way it could work is editing some file inside zen where it stores its new tab file, but it would break with updates and im not sure if it can handle more than a simple html

  • im trying to do that but it needs approval from Mozilla and it could take weeks afaik. I think I can provide an .xpi to use but if it’s not signed you can only use it on FF Nightly. Alternatively you could download the source code, compile it and sign it yourself, it’s pretty easy I could tell you how to do it until it’s officially published. I could use the testing to see if something’s broken on another machine.

  • why? he ruled syria under a ba’athist arab socialist system, which is by far the most revolutionary system possible to implement in the middle east given material reality right now. it argues for state led socialist economy (nationalization of major industries, state control of natural resources, state planning of important sectors, land reform targeting large landowners), anti imperialism and panarabism, democratic centralism established trough the rule of a vanguard party, it’s a secular ideology that argues arab idenity comes before religion.

it is indeed a synthesis of marxism leninism applied to the material reality of modern day syria. there’s a really good interview done by cgnt where they talk about the similarities between the chinese and syran model
