How is it weird for a UK organisation to focus on the coverage of UK locations? They also don’t show France or any other country affected.

afaik some important mod tools are only available on old reddit, so if old goes, so will many of the remaining subreddit mods who haven’t left after the API shutdown

my family still uses Facebook Messenger, it’s only the tech savvier people I hung out with on Telegram that I managed to switch to Signal 😮‍💨

Very disturbing, it was the last straw to switch my chats (besides family) to Signal.

I had held onto Telegram for years because of their fun animated stickers, but yesterday discovered that Signal has those too, actually all sets from Telegram are available on unofficial Signal sticker sites, so now I’m all sorted 😅

yeah, it’s reasonably good, only struggles with more niche searches - when I search for seemingly unrelated topics it often falls back to showing ~5 generic links for one of the topics, then ~5 generic links for the other, but if I search for the same with Google &udm=14, it finds the specific niche overlap I was looking for
