I have seen pics of the screen and honestly it looks so good, what kind of screen is it? (I know it is an OLED) like, you’d expect these companies to use very cheap panels or so.

I could subscribe to most of the community replacements with the Voyager app!
(Summit wasn’t translating the links).

- Monument Valley (Android)
- Retro City Rampage (PS Vita)
- Pokémon Omega Ruby (almost finished, 3DS).
kratoz29@lemmy.zipto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Does mozilla plan to add support for add-ons in Firefox ios, since Apple was forced to allow browsers other than safari?121·5 days agoI kinda find it crazy that our phones are called smart phones and yet they’re dumbed down unnecessarily…
Maybe it is not completely related, but that’s why I keep certain activities for PC only (like using it to buy stuff for example).
kratoz29@lemmy.zipto Android@lemdro.id•What launcher do you use? I'm looking to drop KvaesitsoEnglish3·5 days agoI use whatever the stock launcher of the ROM is…
I am a full screen gestures user and for me the 3rd party launchers are broken since A12, or probably before that, even with usage of the GestureNavContract API they are still not smooth enough for me…
With that said, if you are rooted you can get away from that limitation with Lawnchair and quickSwitch, or if you use navigation buttons you are gold with almost all the launchers I’d say.

Maybe I am a bit biased as I want to get a OnePlus Nord 4 (although I will better wait for the 5th) but I really like its design, and the design is like the last thing I care about a phone 😅 (I always end up setting a cheap screen protector and a cheap case).

kratoz29@lemmy.zipto RetroGaming@lemmy.world•What are the games you played in your youth that you still play today?English1·6 days agoQuite a bunch, but the ones I come more often to my mind (and that are not DS titles, if not it would be Jump Ultimate Stars, Metroid Prime Hunters or Mario Kart DS) are:
Jackie Chan Stutmaster and Toy Story 2, both PS1 games (among other PS1 titles).
Thank you, sadly the posts don’t make the instance transition in the Summit Android app.
Do you have any suggestions to achieve that?
Thanks for the heads-up!
Hopefully most community admins do the same with theirs, so we can switch properly 😅
Damn, since I saw the warning thread I was hurrying my slow ass to back up my stuff, which I gladly did (some days ago), lemmy.zip is my new home now.
I feel sorry for the users that didn’t get the chance to backup their stuff… An auto backup feature for Lemmy backend might be worth checking out perhaps?
kratoz29@lemmy.zipto Gaming@lemmy.ml•What is your personal favorite multiplayer game and what is it's fatal flaw?2·9 days agoJump Ultimate Stars.
The fatal flaw is that it is old and you need to do a lot of extra steps to play online in 2025, but aside from that, the game has a very steep learning curve so even the greatest otaku can struggle to get into it, competitively specially, if there is a room for that word in 2025 😅
The major change included in this update is a fully fledged save/restore system for post feeds. This system works under the hood so you shouldn’t notice any changes to the app. This system aims to make leaving and returning to the app a more predictable experience. You should no longer lose your place in the post feed.
I already thought you were the GOAT when you added this.
If you preferred the old experience, this new save & restore system can be disabled in Settings > Post feed.
And then you also added a toggle off (which I won’t use) so now you are even a bigger GOAT!
Summit is the best Lemmy client hands down! (And it is not like there is not many competition 😅)

I haven’t heard about that browser, it seems that it does its own thing, IDK man, if FF that has years in the market and still hasn’t caught up, I have no big hopes for “new” projects.
And yet it uses less RAM in Android phones compared to my goat, Firefox… Man FF needs a lot of improvements, all my complaints come from Android, the browser is perfect even on macOS!

Even mosquitoes? Please tell me we can live without them.
kratoz29@lemmy.zipto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What's a game you've played that you're surprised isn't really popular?3·10 days agoNot sure if this fits (because it had its moment and its assets are likely popular) but Jump Ultimate Stars for sure.
It is basically the dream of any Otaku materialized and sadly Shounen Jump hasn’t been able to top it yet, the more time it passes the more time I appreciate it 😁
For example I have played with Gon and Killua characters since 2009… But just until now I got to see the 2011 Hunter x Hunter adaptation and oh boy, knowing the characters just improve the experience!
And that is why we have opinions, I wouldn’t have included Star Trek in a watch before to die list ;)
