Well, we can never know that. As my opinion goes for him being a cop, that is somewhere in this thread, I am just pointing out that this particular meme, calling out police inaction, makes the poster child the only cop that tried. That was just the whole point.

3·2 天前Yes it does, in modern parlance. From what I can tell though it;s older Sanskrit meaning was “the source” in relationship to life, or the divine creation, and could mean womb, etc… but the name is still common today because it has long standing traditional spiritual meaning, and is less seen for the modern use of the word. It is also the base of Yonic, or vaginal like.

25·3 天前not just “not a doctor” but someone who wrote a book where he went into detail about how he doesn’t believe in GERM THEORY.
He is saying they need to be good guys in service to the public, rather then seeing themselves as punishers of a public they now regard as criminal. He suggests switching their idol to Captain America because he is all about self sacrifice for the common good of the citizenry. That by aligning with him, as police, they are bad.
Reports from the time show he was in heated argument about going in, and was detained when shooting started and he tried to force himself in.
This isn’t a defense of what happened at Uvalde. I am just pointing out that the meme chose the one guy who physically tried to do something to use as the poster child for their inaction. I am sure if we could use a time machine to see his whole career he did a bunch of terrible shit that ruined people’s lives when her either didn’t have too, or was legally barred from doing so, but got away with it because he is the system’s enforcer.
It has been a long time since I have read comics, but he was basically an anti-hero. He did a lot of stuff that was straight just bad, torturing people for information, and just a lot of over the top use of force. He doesn’t see himself as a hero, and he regrets getting into the life hie is in, because it’s just a lot of killing, and not always killing “bad guys”, plus it leads to people he cares about always being collateral damage.
He was a marine, whose exact story shifted, but was basically some sort of black ops, or some sort of special operations, sometimes he’s a seal. But his family coincidentally witness a mob hit and they get killed over it. Frank returns and goes into a period of depression and alcoholism, then decides to kill the mafia organization that did it. This just lead him into a never ending path of revenge, turning to people seeking revenge on him, turning to him killing them, and so on.
No, this was the one cop there that tried to do something. Very shortly after this picture he was physically restrained, and removed, and put into protective custody by the other cops. He is looking at his phone because his wife is communicating with him as she is shot, and dying, in the classroom she taught in.
Well, I hate to stick up for a cop, but this is the only cop on scene who actually tried to deal with the shooter. In this picture he is receiving a call, or texts, I can’t remember (turns out it was both), from his wife who is a teacher at the school. Not long after this image he was tackled, and taken into protective custody by the other cops, physically forcing him to stand down. His wife was shot and dying while communicating to him in this picture.
Allow me to clarify, I am speaking on the fact that it is A. a heart shaped one, and B. I am not being totally inclusive in my example which was only to demonstrate why a picture in a locket would likely have been put there by the person who’s picture it is. Even in the case of a single sided locket, the picture in it would most likely be of the person who is giving the locket to another person as a gift. You would probably not wear a locket with only a picture of you in it. Exceptions apply, but they are not as common. One of the most common exceptions you brought up, a parent may put a photo, or photos, of their children in a locket they intend to wear, without a picture of themselves. However the majority of lockets are gifts. This isn’t even to get into things like ones that had hair and finger nails, and shit in them, as those most of their popularity in the 20th century, which our example is from.
Yes, whether or not that means it becomes a popular facet of actual language is a whole different thing though, and that’s the part your are ignoring, the broad change in how words are used.
You will just be another person mad that literally is used for emphasis, or can even mean figuratively. Language isn’t static.
Shit, didn’t even have to be high level. As long as you could give a decent justification for the location, usually some sort of historical, or other type, of context making the location a general place of interest, they would almost always allow it. At least early on, I stopped playing that a little more than a year after it came out. We used to select places in the city that had historical importance, but in the modern day were hotspots for prostitution, drug sales, and other crime. Like the one Art Deco theater that was historically important to hollywood, and politics, a long time ago, but, at the time, was a porn theater that always had a crowd of prostitutes that would follow you down the street pressing you to pay for services, if you walked past.
I mean, it is literally asking him which sin he likes the most, and he lists one of the seven deadly sins, so that is where the religious aspect comes in.

Your wording is weird. I can’t tell if you are trying to call my motives into question, questioning if this story about this cop is true, or what exactly.
