7·8 hours agoWhen I’m posting stuff to Lemmy, I’m fishing it out of folders filled with relevant stuff I’ve saved over the years. Most of the time it gets a chuckle and stuff because I’m seeing it for the first time in a while. This one… I don’t remember ever saving and laughed real fucking hard at the punchline.

Why do you care?
That’s not meant to be hostile or anything. Just… what difference does it make? What is it that makes you actually have a genuine interest in the veracity of some random anecdote before you can be amused or not? Because I don’t get it.
This sounds kind of removed, reading it back, but it’s legitimately not meant to be. Read this whole thing in a tone of genuine confusion. Because like… do you enjoy stand up comedy at all? Movies? TV? Or do you only watch documentaries?
