Managed to find my way in here after my first abortive attempt to register and losing my preferred login at the same time 😫 Currently living down in Spain but the house is going on the market after Xmas and we’re coming back to France thankfully. Spain really didn’t rock our boat. Hopefully by summer we’ll be back!
Glad to see you persevered. How long have you been in Spain for? Why is your boat not rocking? I had heard the authorities were not bike friendly in Spain but i have never experienced that personally on our many trips south of the border. good luck selling.
Been here for 3 years, came down to look after my father in law but he’s now decided he’d rather be back in the UK. The authorities here are a pain, still very authoritarian and many seem to think Franco is still in charge according to our neighbour! Also the lack of seasons and the place just looks a mess, litter everywhere and rather than. take a sofa or a fridge to the local ecoparque ( dechetterie ) they’ll dump it by the bins and hope that the council will collect it some time in the next month. Sad really but we can’t wait to get back to France.
Just edited that as autoballsup put France instead of Franco being in charge so it now should make a bit more sense
