      I have tried to log onto the voyager App but not having much luck.

      I get to the lemmy.world server and log on using the same credentials as I do here but it doesn’t recognise my information.

      What am I missing or, is there a better application that can be used?

        Here’s how your friend needs to log in with Voyager:

        Instance: Yes, they need to specify europe.pub as their instance. In Voyager, when you add an account, there’s a field for the instance URL — they’d enter europe.pub (or https://europe.pub/). That’s how the app knows which server to talk to.

        Login credentials: They use their username and password, not their email. The username is the one they chose when they registered on europe.pub (the part before the @ in username@europe.pub). So if their full Lemmy name is johndoe@europe.pub, they’d type johndoe as the username and their password.

        So the two things your friend likely got stuck on:

        1. Forgetting to set the instance to europe.pub
        2. Trying to log in with their email instead of their Lemmy username

        That should get them in.

            I managed!

            It appears that I needed to subscribe to Lennyworld and create a username and password then once this was accepted (email confirmation) I was in.

            Once there I could easily navigate to the forum.

            What I had done wrong before is assume that my username and password for bikersclubfrance was all I needed .

            Now…have to find my way around this application!

                Summit but the result if pretty good.

                Voyager would also have worked had I realised that I needed to create a second account with lemmy.world.

                What I have ended up with is quite a nice looking application which I will simply use for this Forum (form the time being as I am sure that there are many other interesting communities to explore).

        😂 yeah TomTom or Garmin I have sent you a message to try and explain the navigation a little… but I find that clicking about on stuff seems to help 🤣
