Seems like each peertube instance only shows its own videos. Is there a peertube instance that has tried to federate with all the other peertube instances where the feed isn’t so empty?

I do not wish to make you seem loke an idiot, but are you sure you’re looking at content from all instances? A lot of instances default to the local content page (home or such), and I find it quite difficult to find all content.
I don’t know how to do that. I’m not sure why the homepage would just be local content by default? Interesting
I understand that being confusing, local view makes sense as a default but I rarely check it over my federated feed.
This article explains things well.

So change the setting back from this.
So accessing content on other instances is a server configuration choice, not a user choice?
That seems like a design issue.
Lostpod.space, which is the Peertube instance I am most familiar with says right at the top that the video view is from Lostpod.space and from 438 other places.
You can click the filter button and toggle between “Videos from all platforms” and “Only videos on this platform” without having an account on Lostpod.space or logging in or anything so… I think a Peertube instance can probably disable a federated view, but in a case like Lostpod.space it is just a simple toggle hidden behind the filter button.

Also check out the “Discover” tab as well.
Thank you!
Is there an instance that has already done this? I don’t have one myself
Peertube is a clusterfuck.
The underlying technology is great I just wish it was easier to navigate.
