If you consider unnecessary government invasions of privacy under the pretense of “protecting the children” from sharing memes a form of enshittification, then yes.
It’s only access to the site/app and embeds that UK users are missing out on, though. Anything downloaded from Imgur and then uploaded elsewhere will behave like it always did 🤷🏻
But they did get bought out by medialab during Covid, who promptly fired half the staff, fucked with user content and stuffed it with more ads than was entirely reasonable.
It’s blocked in the UK. But otherwise isn’t well liked, but I forget the reasons.
