        You missed my point. There’s no Microsoft in there. It’s related to Microsoft pretty much the same way Linux is to minix.

          ??? It’s the nt kernel, I was trying to get the point across that it was the same kernel that windows uses. It’s also built to have full compatibility with windows software. I mean the project calls itself a free and opensource reimplementation of windows. It’s built using an “open source version of the NT operating system.” It’s very much not just what linux is to minix. Minix uses an entirely different kernel to linux, I mean it’s even a micro kernel in comparison to linux’s monolithic one. The goal is 1 to 1 compatibility with windows software and drivers, it’s very much supposed to be basically an open source windows-like os.
