Looks impressive, no doubt. If only the chargers networks were available, this could be a death stroke to any competition. Having this said, what is the real world life with a BYD car? Any first hand experience?
I have a BYD, had the “T box” fail, it contains the electronics for comms with the car, cars GPS etc, anyway, they replaced said box.
I charge it from the solar panels on my roof.
I’d rather be car free as I hate driving and hate cars but I’m in rural Australia now so …
I know someone with a BYD Seal, it’s got its ups and downs. Generally a decent car all around, it’s crazy fast, and the materials feel quite nice. Main issues I saw were that the software is kind of rough around the edges in places (imagine like how Huawei and Oppo’s software is in Western markets) and the dealer networks aren’t as well established. Haven’t had one as a daily driver though, so some of the finer details may have escaped me.
