Why do you people dislike the welfare system and despise the so called lumpen-proletariat? I feel like they will bring back the relief camps in Canada soon and I must prepare myself for such occasion. But back then the communists had our back. You (on lemmygrad) despise and harbour only hatred for the “lumpen-proletariat.” Why? I need to know the reasons for your hatred so I can organize properly.

Edit: I’m not even surprised tbh. Nerds have no empathy with those they consider “uncivilized.” We cannot coexist.

        I found the post in question https://lemmygrad.ml/post/10611595 talking about in the context of the PRC why Healthcare is not free like in Cuba or the DPRK.

        It reads to me that the user was attempting to answer the question by synthesizing a speech President Xi gave, hence answering the question. When asked for context the user did include the relevant part of the speach given, the most relevant at the end “…we should not set excessively high goals and provide excessive guarantees, in order not to fall into the trap of “welfarism” that encourages laziness.” The user does in my reading of the comments in question to not provide their opinion on the policy, but instead uses there understanding of that speech to answer the question given.
