Jewish or Israeli?
The distinction matters.
This might be a dumb time to ask this question. It’s an ambulance service in London. It’s Bri’ish.
What goes around comes around. This headline is also missing the …, say Jewish ambulance drivers at the end.
Israel deliberately targeting medical facilities in south Lebanon, say health workers
Wtf is there segregated healthcare in the UK?
I’m not familiar with situation in the UK, but in other countries there are NGOs that try to complement the national healthcare services, ranging from financing ambulances to at home care. They are often tied to religious movements.
At a quick glance, Hatzola Northwest seems to provide services for free to everyone in their catchment area, so any segregation is geographic in origin.
Not exactly. The Orthodox Jews run their own service in a lot of places. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hatzalah
Nope, it is an adjunct funded by the Jewish community to avoid accidental things not approved of (can’t list what as I can’t recall).
I believe it has to do with Kosher blood.
Jewish people throughout the world reap what Israel has sown
Having said that, don’t think for a second that this group aren’t Zionists
Not at all relevant if they’re zionist or not. It’s a volunteer ambulance service
I disagree
And if you’ve seen how orthodox jews treat other people in London, you might sing a different song
Civilians are civilians. Nothing can ever justify attacks on healthcare infrastructure. That’s an absolute
This is an antisemitic attack. The perpetrators must be brought to justice.
Nothing to do with critical views about Israel’s unlawful and illegitimate / inhumane violence. The perpetrators must be brought to justice.
Must they? Do they even have that on terf island?
