The most recent values for selected African countries include: Nigeria 34% (2023), Kenya 22% (2023), Ghana 16% (2024), Zimbabwe 13% (2023), South Africa 26% (2023), and Rwanda 36% (2023). The indicator reflects the proportion of private provision within national secondary education systems, with values ranging from below 1% in some countries to over 90% in others.
