March 29, 2026After decades consolidating their control over Area C, Israeli settlers are expanding into Areas B and A — nominally under Palestinian Authority jurisdiction — and displacing communities, Oren Ziv and Ariel Caine revealed in a joint investigation with Local Call and The Nation.
Back in 2000 or so, my view of Israel was molded by reading in newsweek of all places about how Israel was carving up the palestinian lands, with fences and walls, many of them as elevated roads, with armed checkpoints. It all seemed rather familiar, to what the nazis did. I can’t believe everyone doesn’t see it. To say nothing of their collective punishmets, killing the families of people they decide have wronged them without any sort of trial, destroying their houses.
