If you were ever curious about No Mans Sky the game is an amazing state with a fuckton of content. Game is basically on every platform. I migh just dump another 100 hours into it.

you can be the mayor of up to 4 settlelements

settlements can come under attack by sentinels, pirates and bugs and if you have recruited squadmates they can come and help defend your settlement.

    I was so disappointed that i couldn’t build my base in my settlement

    Also: the base building mechanics are garbo, why did they add the new stuff at a completely different scale to the prefab stuff 😭

      I like how flexible the base building mechanics are at least. Build cam and toggleable grid snapping are blessings not always seen in other games. There’s also the thematic dissonance of a game about perpetually wandering and being lonely having bustling cities built by players.

      Best base to build is a freighter base, imo, keeps in the theme of wandering.
