As you can see, I’m a small little apple. I’m going to dig into my lawn so I can finally grow into a tree!

But I’m too small and I haven’t sweetened yet :/ If I dig myself in right now, I might not germinate before the fall :/

      I’m a Reddit Refugee. I left Reddit because of the AI age verification that they’re adding everywhere. Since then I’ve been finding decentralised alternatives to all my apps, which led me…here!

        Ah, sorry to hear that’s creeping up on Reddit too. I also arrived here from reddit a couple years ago, when they had the API debacle.

        This is the only decentralised social media I use to be honest, unfortunately my circles are happy to remain on mainstream platforms so I still have to use those if I’m to reach them.

        Which other alternatives have you found and tried? Which ones do you like and think you’ll keep using?

          I’m using the entire Proton Suite (Proton Mail, Proton Drive, etc…) I’m using Imagepipe to clear image metadata. Matrix instead of Discord. F-droid instead of Google Play. Session, Signal, Tor, and finally Voicesmith.

          A lot of names here.

            Oh I see! I already use some of those- Fdroid and Signal whenever possible. Proton Mail too but not too frequently. Never heard of Voicesmith or Session or Imagepipe. As for Matrix… I’ve always been curious but never got a reason to install and join, I don’t have anyone to chat there or don’t know of any groups. And Tor, well it’s legendary but I also never got around to try it.
