What is “the cycle”? (I’m in at least three cycles right now, I don’t wanna be in)

I was sober for four years until November. I started drinking again moderately, but it’s definitely picking up again.

I had myself sterilized and I think that was probably the most important end to a vicious cycle I could induce 😊
