In fact, I’m a big fan of hot food on salad. Part of that’s because the sauce & flavors of the hot food act as a sort of dressing for the salad. Steak or salmon strips on top of salad would be a pretty slam-dunk example, but all kinds of combos are possible.
Have you ever tried hot shrimp salad? It’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but I like it. It’s rare to find it in Asian restaurants outside of Asia though.
