    Wow! This actually makes a lot of sense to me and it’s something I’ve been concerned about myself for awhile.

    Not with these Thermos bottles specifically, but putting soda in a water bottle and opening the cap has resulted in several explosions for me. I’ve started being very careful with it, as even the thin plastic bottle cap seems like it could do a lot of damage to eyes with how it explodes off. I can only imagine what one of these bigger caps are like.

    Hopefully the people who have been injured from this get enough compensation so they never have to work again. I’m sure there are some people making millions of dollars per year off of the Thermos brand that can stand to make a little bit 🤏 less.

    I’ve got a Stanley thermos that’s about 40 years old. IDK why anyone would buy a new one when the old ones don’t kill you or make you blind…
