Nvidia are making damn sure they never do that again, they’ve been drip-feeding performance increases ever since.

My only regret was not waiting a bit longer to get the ti over the basic 1080. But with an undervolt the GPU drew only 150 watts max and still crushed.

Also the first month I forgot to plug the power cables in and apparently the EVGA models will just power limit to 75 watts.

Still rocking a 1080-ti in my home office computer! Although one of the fans occasionally sounds like death until you tap on it. Someday it’ll die for good…
