Trump Counterterrorism Plan Targets ‘Radically Pro-Transgender’ Groups, Antifa and Left-Wing Extremists
www.btimesonline.com
external-link
President Donald Trump has unveiled a new counterterrorism strategy that dramatically reshapes the federal government's definition of domestic extremism, elevating what the administration describes as "violent secular political groups" and "radically pro-transgender" movements into central national security concerns alongside Islamist terrorism and drug cartels.

Criminalizing the opposition is literally the first page in the fascism handbook.

I wouldn’t say I’m comfortable, exactly. I agree it is the proper reading-between-the-lines, and it’s very awkward. Actually, down right terrifying.

He already did that a while ago. NSPM-7 is nothing new, neither is repeatedly ignoring court orders, trying to overthrow the 2020 election, or personally enriching himself to the tune of billions of dollars using the power of the government he runs.

Thanks to the supreme court it doesn’t matter though, as nationwide injunctions are forbidden.

Secular does not mean what most of these assholes think it means, by the way. Way too many act like it’s a synonym for “atheist”.

Just because a person or an org has not chosen to wear their chosen lifestyle on their sleeve does not make it the equivalent atheist.

Most of life is “secular”, FFS.

What the conservatives do the English language is as infuriating as so many other things they do. Often it starts with their perversion of terms and phrases.

They know what it means, they are leaving room for violent christian political groups. They have already declared violent Islamic organizations as evil so by saying “secular” they literally mean any group that does not declare themselves as christian.

The US sucks ass right now, we need to tax the billionaires back down to millionaires. We need to get money out of politics and punish the corrupt. If it cant be done through legal channels then do it with guillotines.

Also …something something what about the Epstein files?
