The 100th-60th best books of all time according to guardian*
Like why even split a list like this into multiple days?
If people keep coming back to see a fifth of the list at a time, it costs a fifth as much to produce the content per view.
Come back on Thursday for 60 to 41
Ugh, I hate how dissemination of information is adjusted to fit into a mould that will make money.
I mean, I’m not coming back on Thursday. There are plenty of sources out there on the Internet with their Top N rankings other than The Guardian.

Sorry some good books are there but this is not top 100 books of all time. So many books I would of added not even on their list.
How many have I read? I’ve only heard of one and I haven’t read it.
catch-22 is a good book though.
I do mean to read it at some point haha. I read a decent amount, that’s why I I’m surprised by their list.
There are only a couple on there I have actually read, a few more I’ve heard of. The Cormac McCarthy books I enjoyed, insofar as one can enjoy those subjects (The Road and Blood Meridian). The Left Hand of Darkness by Ursula K LeGuin is one I’d recommend to fantasy/scifi fans. And when I was younger I didn’t enjoy it, but I always find myself engaged with Hemingways stories even when I think I won’t be (A farewell to arms).
Strange hostility towards the article format here in the books community, a medium that famously comes out in volumes over time.
Interesting point. Reminds me of how Tale of Two Cities started out as monthly installments before they were eventually bundled into a single book.
