According to The Telegraph, cousins Roger Lewis and Jeff Lewis are set to begin filming the horror feature this June via their newly launched production banner Woodlake Entertainment.
Of all the Lovecraft stories that exist, why oh why is Herbert West the most used for film? Was the original Reanimator movie just that popular? And what the hell happened to the Beyond the Mountains of Madness film?
Because it requires the least amount of effort, bare minimum special effects, and the Jeffrey Combs version has a level of notoriety because of that scene
That scene is definitely getting cut or at least completely changed in the new adaptation

This was my first thought. I love nearly all of Lovecrafts work but this is one of the few exceptions. Reanimator is just trash tier in comparison to everything else.
I want Dream Quest of Unknown Kadath!
