The way that these politicians and the capitalist media constantly raise the alarm over ‘antisemitism’, you would almost begin to think that their definition of ‘Jew’ is ‘somebody who experiences antisemitism’; the impression is that nothing in Jews’ lives happens beyond suffering antisemitism, all of Jewish history is just millennium upon millennium of experiencing antisemitism (since the day that Isaac ben Abraham was conceived—if not earlier), antisemitism is Jews’ only problem and nothing else matters. It is like nobody talks about Jews apart from the oppression that they face on account of their heritage.
I know that this is somewhat tangential to your topic, and I certainly don’t mean to imply that you are part of the problem when covering how politicians monomaniacally talk about Jews. But I want to use this latest opportunity to tell anybody lurking how the capitalist media are not only constantly misunderstanding antisemitism but are seemingly emphasising it to the point where they exclude every other subject pertaining to Jews, which is itself unhelpful to them because it makes their lives seem one-dimensional.
