Sometimes I wonder why all the poor and homeless don’t just commit some crimes and get free food and shelter in prison. If the government cannot create livable conditions for people, then force it.
And then I learned there is a literal waiting list to get to prison in many USA states…
Some do. I’ve seen many stories over the years where a guy robs a bank, and then just sits down and waits for the cops. Not long ago, it was because a guy had cancer, and no insurance, and he’d get at least basic care in prison.

Its slavery with just with a few extra steps
free food is easy enough to get. it’s just you have no choice what you’re eating. if you have food allergies like me, that kills you.
