I was coming here from that website to share it, but luckily you already have.
So I’ll just drop this comment for a bit of engagement, although doesna matter as much on Lemmy without a proper algorithm but anyway.
Just crazy how they used to be able to push out 25 episodes a year when nowadays it’s 6-10 episodes per season for a show and they all get canceled after 2-3 seasons, and those seasons all take like 2-3 years to make per season. Ridiculous.
I would watch a new series, but Amazon sucks donkey balls.
And a website to help coordinate actions for those interrested
It sure would be nice to get another faithful stargate series.
want to save Stargate?
cancel your prime membership. cite the reason being Stargate.
you don’t need prime anyway. fuck Amazon.
The core fanbase is not going to get this done. The whole reason they cancelled it was because they were worried it would bring in a new audience and that only the core audience would watch it.
That’s the official excuse, people who actually were involved insist that they worked on that, and it was cancelled simply because of new people in charge cancelling whatever the previous guys greenlit.
I hope that it can get revived.
