IDF will remain in Lebanon, Syria and Gaza ‘indefinitely’, Israel’s defence minister says
Israeli newspaper Hareetz has quoted the country’s defence minister, Israel Katz, as having said that “the IDF will remain in the security zones in Lebanon, Syria and Gaza – indefinitely – to defend the border and Israeli communities against jihadist elements.”
Israel currently occupies swathes of southern Lebanon and Katz said that troops won’t withdraw from the land.
Despite launching the war on Iran alongside the US in late February, Israel was freezed out of the Pakistan-mediated negotiations over the peace deal – and many Israeli politicians and members of the public want the IDF to continue its war on Lebanon to degrade Hezbollah’s capabilities further.
Notice the lack of the word “occupy”

This “deal” isn’t going to get signed until at least Friday, so there are five days for him to say or do something wildly stupid, and have them refuse to sign. Or he’ll refuse to sign.
It’s not even a real peace deal, just a “Memorandum of Understanding.” In other words, “Yeah, were willing to talk about it.” But that’s all it means. It is not a Peace Deal. Supposedly, it will open the Strait, but how long will that last before Trump or Israel does something stupid to violate it?
But he doesn’t care. The entire point was to be able to throw his party today and be able to pretend they’re having a big PEACE Celebration, like when they announced the end of WWII and everybody partied and kissed women in the street.
He has probably deluded himself that that’s what’s going to happen when he announces he has brought PEace to the Middle East! Otherwise, he’d have to face the fact that he turned the White House into a garish nightmare for a party that all the celebs RAN away from, and he had to beg and threaten people to attend.
This whole thing was a stunt for his big stupid birthday party. There is no real peace deal, and there won’t be one. Iran is fucking with us, and they don’t want to end the war until at least after the Midterms.
Nothing is getting signed, there’s no deal and the negotiations are going nowhere, Friday is not a deadline it’s just Friday
Trump is speaking on behalf of Israel that’s power hungry, immune and settles for nothing but gain, Iran demands hard concessions and change while settling for nothing but reparations over what happened to them
Even if the American people pay for the reparations of the deal which they certainly will as always, the two parties will go to war again(Israel attack) and the American people will pay for the second round of reparations again, Nothing is getting signed and that’s the plan for Israel and Iran they both benefit from it
