I feel like they’ll probably invent some plot by “Marxists” and start cracking down hard on anyone even slightly left of center in the name of combating terrorism. Like, even harder than they are already.

I’ve thought of this too, and absolutely they’ll try that. I just don’t think they can pull it off, everyone else has anti-charisma.
