    To be honest, I don’t see any causal relation there. I’m pro Open Source and pro EU sovereignty, but I don’t see that Open Source (hardware or software) is necessary for sovereignty. Probably helpful and probably aligned with some EU values but not necessary.

      It’s not necessary but it levels the playing field. There won’t be anyone controlling kill switches.

      Also it’s the best way technology can evolve.
