Taxi accreditation is almost worthless these days due to years of abusive behaviour and doubling down: I’m no fan of rideshare platforms, but having better control earlier so people didn’t have such a negative view of taxis would have helped.

Good, I’ve gotten taxis before because work gives a cab charge and you say you’re going to the hotel around the corner from the airport and they refuse.
