I’ll need an IMDB link on this one
It’s En Sabah Nur, (aka Apocalypse) and his guards if I’m not mistaken.
Sadly not actually a new Stargate show
Definitely feeling some inspiration though. Wouldn’t be surprised if it was an intentional homage.
I mean En Sabah Nur was called Ra at one point. You never know
Sad and happy about this one
🤣
Stargate Infinity showed that an animated Stargate series could totally work well. Ignore the fact that that particular series was overall stupid and didn’t work; it could work well.

I’ve seen so many great animation over the years, now I wonder why we still even question if anything could work in animation. The answer is simply yes, anything could work in animation. The medium isn’t the factor, execution is and the team behind it.
I tried thinking of what could actually truly not work as an animated film/show, and all I could think of was reality TV. No one wants to watch the Bachelor or Survivor as an animated adaptation. The whole point of those types of shows is to see actual people doing things for real. Even documentaries include reenactments, as those are more focused on conveying information, so a fully animated documentary could be fine as long as the audio track was accurate. But reality TV is about depicting reality. Animating a reality show would involve altering that reality in such a way that it is effectively not reality TV anymore.
I don’t think Reality TV works at all. Yet I have a counterpoint called Drawn Together (I know, it’s not “real” Reality TV, but sometimes it’s realer than Reality TV).
There was also that cartoon network show that got a few seasons and spin-offs. Total Drama Island or something, wasn’t that basically just animated Survivor?
