The most widely read Singaporean newspaper, published for nearly two centuries.

The ST has some good articles, but I wouldn’t trust them too much. Singapore ranks 123 in the Word Press Freedom Index, behind Niger and Mali, and only 1 rank ahead of Zimbabwe. The paper also doesn’t do any deeper investigations.

It’s not the worst medium on the globe, and for simple facts that can easily be verified (like the one in the linked article) it may be fine, but for critical issues it unfortunately can’t be trusted imo.
