1. it looks like instead of just firing people and hoarding ip thatvwill never be used (cough EA) they actually arenletting studios go indie and keep their IP. microsoft is made up of many people and i think this new head handled this better than anyone else ever has.

2. i hate layers of management so reducing it is always a plus in mu book.
