There’s a Serbian girl who said Vucic is bad. I don’t know anything about post-Yugo Serbia, so I don’t know what to think about the current Serbia. I also saw some neo-nazis supporting the govt. Is it like Putin’s government, where we should support it critically, or is it another shitlib state like most of the European countries?
I don’t know much about what other Marxists think. Vucic seems to be pro-Russian and there’s a lot of misinformation going around. It seems that the EU and the US are trying hard to destabilize the country. On the other hand, the accusations that Vucic is corrupt seem to be at least somewhat credible. There’s reports that his government is working along with organized crime, and in the recent protests, far right football hooligans (who are usually involved with organized crime as muscle) were used to clash with the protestors. I’m not sure what’s going on.

Vucic plays both sides a bit. He is corrupt. But Serbia is under attack by the EU to rid themselves “of russian influence” like Moldavia was.
He is definetly pro-Putin. Afaik he is typical balkan levels of corrupt, meaning completely unredeemable. If anything do some research if you can into the protests that have been going on for a while. Unfortunately the only non state aligned media is backed by CNN as far as I know, so do take that in mind.
It’s a good question but I don’t know if there is one singular “Marxist stance” on Serbia.
