Polar Vantage V3. Difficult decision switching from Gramin but I don’t regeret it at all, this watch is fantastic.
Opentracks and a noname HR armband for training metrics, and gadgetbridge + PAIesque for trend data.
Same here. Xiaomi miband 9, open tracks, gadgetbridge
I just wish it wasn’t so god damn janky. Data sync is a bit of a crapshoot, I often have double recordings on workouts in gadgetbridge or completely missing workouts in gadgetbridge.
I really want to use gadgetbridge but with my watch it just stops syncing after 2 - 6 activities and gets stuck in a loop of trying resulting in me having to basically reset everything and start again :(
That’s better with some services than others. Also the graphs are not always sensible or useful. But it does what I need it to do. :)
Garmin Forerunner 265, which I got a decent deal on during the post-christmas sales. The natural pairing is Garmin Connect, which I have connected to Strava
None. I hold my phone, or keep it in my pocket on runs…
Polar Grit X2 Pro Titan, the Polar Flow app + Strava.
Me too except with the Polar Grit X. Recently I’ve also started exporting the sessions from Polar Flow, and manually uploading them to FitPub, a federated Strava alternative.
Garmin Instinct 3 + Gadgetbridge (an open source, non-cloud connected app to track the metrics)
FitoTrack and currently no watch.
Garmin Forerunner 965, TrainAsOne and Garmin Connect
Garmin Fenix 8 and their Garmin Connect app. I also sync to strava for my non Garmin friends.
